When choosing a car its safety record should be something that you think about. If you do put any thought into it you will find that any list of the safest cars almost always contains several Volvos. There are a few reasons for this but ultimately it all comes down to the fact that the company makes a serious effort to ensure that the cars that they produce are some of the safest on the road.
